The "bottom" line ? These are the best diapers out there ! February 5, 2007 Charity A. Breiner (Estherville, IA United States) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
These are the bigger baby version of Pamper's Swaddlers, so if you are a Swaddlers fan, when you're baby outgrowns them, upgrade to Cruisers. They have the stretchy elastic on the side of the (velcro) tabs, so you get a "custom fit" with every change, and the stretch also allows for movement (when the baby goes to bed with a big, full tummy, it shrinks through the night as food digests - these diapers stay snug, due to the stretchy part, and never leak). Huggies has tried to make their own version, and I gamely tried them, only to find the huge elastic panel on the back to be very poorly fitting, and allows EVERYthing to leak out the back - yuck ! Pampers has recently added an open-weave cover inside, to assure that the mess seeps through, then keeps it away from baby's skin, which is a great improvement (and I thought they were great BEFORE !). Yes, they ARE basically the most expensive diapers (although they are equally priced to Huggies, and the like), but as with most things, you get what you pay for.
An Answer to a Prayer August 7, 2007 J.J. Petty (Big Spring, TX) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
First the service at Amazon is fantastic. The diapers have arrived in usually 2 days. I have a severely handicapped 21 year old daughter who is too small for adult diapers and too large for standard baby diapers. The Pampers Cruisers in size 7 have been the perfect fit for her. The Cruisers also are more durable than standard diapers. I am thrilled with this product.
Great way to get diapers! September 10, 2007 jenmbrun (PA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I find that the size 7's are actually roomier than the 6's. My son will be 3 in early December of this year and I find that the 7's are almost a little big on him, even though he fits the weight recommendation for theses. He's very tall for his age and I find that the 7's come up higher than the 6's and for us, that's what we needed. He doesn't have a big belly or big thighs, but he's very tall and the 7's work just fine. I do have a hard time finding these in the stores, and when I do, I usually wind up paying just as much for half the amount of diapers. I would typically get them at Target in the smaller pack and I'd have to buy 2 packs and it didn't even equal 1 of these jumbo packs so I think it is far more cost-effective to do it this way, ESPECIALLY with the free shipping. Also, I don't have to go to the store and spend all kinds of money on other things that I wind up getting when all I really went for is diapers. The UPS man (my kids call him the "diaper fairy") comes and leaves them at my door and I don't wind up spending money on impulse items at Target anymore. The free super-saver shipping makes it all worth while...for me anyway.
finally! September 19, 2007 Alisin D. Jackson (parksley, va United States) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
As a mom of a 38 inch, 42 lb 28 month old, I was absolutely nuts because I couldn't find diapers OR pullups big enough to fit him. We are in the process of potty training but due to a speech impediment its slow going. These are the first diapers I've found that are big enough! Especially since theres no cost to ship, its almost better than buying at the local store(since they're not about to stock them anyway!)
Excellent product August 17, 2006 Happy Parent (New York, NY) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Snugger fitting than Target brand, Seventh Generation, and Huggies. Not one accident. Thick and absorbant. No chafing. Great elastic waistband and tabs stick firmly. Faint, but pleasant, scent. No complaints at all from our little girl. Yes, it costs a bit more, but absolutely well worth it.
